DP Bill Mills and Rob Fortunato traveled to the island nation of Palau with 60 Minutes correspondent Anderson Cooper,  and producer Joyce Gesundheit and David Schneider to capture this compelling story about the Bent Prop organization’s efforts to find and eventually recover missing American airmen from World War II.

DP Bill Mills traveled with CBS News’ Scott Pelley, and Producers Robert Anderson and Dan Ruetenik to shoot this fascinating story on the Humpback whale.  Mills was the underwater cameraman and shared topside work with South African DP Chris Everson.

Locations included Rarotonga (Cook Islands) and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Emeril begins the “Coming to America” episode at Sushi Pop located outside Orlando in Oviedo. Sushi Pop is one of the top-rated sushi restaurants in the state and it’s owned by Chef Chau Trinh. Emeril talks with Chef Chau about his journey to Sushi Pop and they try some of his impressive and creative sushi dishes he’s become known for, such as Leche de tiger, Bacon Wrapped Scallop Nigiri, Otoro tartare and Lobster Sashimi.

DP Bill Mills, along with with Camera operators Sean Davis, Kevin Deyo, and Russ Mick began utilizing the Sony F-55 camera systems for principle photography in Season 3 of Emeril’s Florida.

The program highlights Florida through the eyes of Emeril with a focus on food, cooking, events and activities around the state.
Ulele is named for the daughter of a legendary Native American chief. The restaurant and Ulele Spring Brewery is on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, serving unique foods and spirits by fusing elements from a rich variety of Native American and multicultural influences, including those of European explorers.

Searching for a lost Japanese WWII submarine with 2 tons of gold is the premise for this Nat Geo documentary.  Director of Photography Bill Mills spent six weeks in the mid Atlantic and dove in the MIR submersibles to over three miles (17,550 feet) underwater to capture never before seen images of the I-52.
Using the Russian MIR submersibles, Mills and the Nat Geo team tell the story of the sinking, discovery, and attempt to recover gold and other artifacts from this ship that is two miles deeper than Titantic.

When tasked with following late night talk show host Craig Ferguson as he explored the realm of sharks in the Bahamas, DP Bill Mills choose a custom Gates Underwater housing.

Shark Week 2010 featured host Craig Ferguson.  Underwater Director of Photography Bill Mills utilized a custom Gates HD housing  as the A camera.
